Julius Nyerere International Airport formerly known as Dar es Salaam International Airport is located 12 kilometers southwest of the city of Dar es Salaam. The airport has three terminals, the modern Terminal 3 opened in August 2019. Things to do in Dar-es-salaam

National Museum and House of Culture

A new wing was built in 1963 and King George V's car can be viewed here. Visitors can see archaeological finds such as rock paintings and a 3.6-million-year-old hominid footprint.
