Kilimanjaro International Airport provides a convenient way for visitors to fly in and out of Tanzania for their climb and safari trips. The airport is located just 40 minutes from the gateway towns of Moshi and Arusha by vehicle, making it easy to begin your adventure soon after you arrive.

Kilimanjaro International Airport is an international airport in northern Tanzania that serves the cities of Arusha and Moshi. The airport handled 802,731 passengers in 2014 and mainly serves regional flights as well as a few long-haul services due to its importance as a leisure destination.

The longest flight from Kilimanjaro JRO is a 4,288 mile (6,901 km) non-stop route to Amsterdam AMS. This direct flight takes around 8 hours and 25 minutes and is operated by KLM.

The only intercontinental flights operating from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) are between Kilimanjaro and Europe and between Kilimanjaro and the Middle-East

Please note that there are no direct services between Kilimanjaro and the United States, Canada, Southern America, Central America, the Caribbean, Southern Asia, China, Japan, Eastern Asia, South-Eastern Asia, Central Asia or Oceania.

KLM is currently the only airline flying non-stop from Kilimanjaro to Europe. They fly seasonal to Amsterdam (AMS).
