7 Days fly in Safari Southern Tanzania – Overview:

This 7 days fly-in safari will take you to Selous Game Reserve and Ruaha National Park; you will go on game drives, walking safaris and boat safaris. On this 7 days safari package, you will fly-in to Selous Game Reserve and then will go on game drives and boat safaris. From Selous you will fly to Ruaha National Park – Tanzania’s largest national park; here you will go on game drives and walking safaris.

7 Days fly in Safari Southern Tanzania – Itenerary:

Day 1 Arrival to Tanzania

On arrival at Dar es Salaam Airport(Julius Nyerere International Airport) you will be picked up by our driver who will drive you to your hotel in Dar es Salaam.Dinner and overnight accommodation at your hotel in Dar es Salaam.
 

Day 2Dar es Salaam – Selous Game Reserve (fly-in)

After breakfast, you will be driven to Dar es Salaam Airport(Julius Nyerere International Airport) from where you will fly Selous Game Reserve; on arrival you will be met by our guide who will drive you to your camp with game viewing on the way; lunch will be served and then you will go on a boat trip.Dinner and overnight accommodation at a camp in Selous National Park.
 

Day 3-4Selous Game Reserve

These two days will be spent inside Selous Game Reserve doing game views. You will see the best of African wildlife here; lions, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra, wild dogs and many species of birds will be seen. You will also go on a boat trip along the Rufiji River; on this trip, you will explore the park and its surrounding from the tranquil river. If you are a photo enthusiast, Selous is a great place for taking wildlife photos.Dinner and overnight accommodation at a camp in Selous National Park.
 

Day 5Selous Game Reserve – Ruaha National Park (fly-in)

After breakfast, you will fly into Ruaha National Park -Tanzania’s largest national park; here you will be met by our guide who will take you out for a game drive. Lunch will be served and then you will head out for another round of game viewing until late in the evening.Dinner and overnight accommodation at a lodge in Ruaha National Park.
 

Day 6 Ruaha National Park

On this day you will head out for a half day of game drive and then in the afternoon, you will go for a walking safari. You will you see predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyena, wild dogs, bat-eared foxes, and jackals. Grazers such as elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, Grant’s gazelles, greater and lesser kudus, sable and roan antelopes, waterbucks, and impalas will also be seen.Dinner and overnight accommodation at a lodge in Ruaha.
 

Day 7 Ruaha National Park – Dar es Salaam – Departure

On this day, you will fly from Ruaha National Park to Dar es Salaam. On arrival, we will help you transfer to your next flight back home or to other parts of Tanzania.
