6 Days Ruaha Udzungwa and Mikumi

6 Days Ruaha, Mikumi and Udzungwa – Overview:

This tour will start from Dar es Salaam or Morogoro. The clients will get chance to visit Mikumi NP been the first park on arrival and during the tour clients will also visit Udzungwa NP and the famous Ruaha NP to explore the best of our NP and especially Ruaha been the Largest park in Tanzania. Clients will return to Dar es Salaam after the tour.

6 Days Ruaha, Mikumi and Udzungwa – Itenerary

Day 1 – Dar es Salaam – Mikumi NP:

Pick up clients from home or hotel or from airport at 05:30 am and start driving to Mikumi. The drive will take approximate 5-6 hours to arrive Mikumi, on arrival game drive and later depart to camp bastian for full board accommodation.

Day 2 – Mikumi to Ruaha Natinal Park:

On this day, clients will check out from the hotel in Mikumi and drive to Ruaha National Park. Ruaha National Park is the home of large groups of elephants and zebras just to mention a few. Ruaha national Park is the largest Park in Tanzania, followed by The serengeti Plain. Arrive for dinner and overnight to get themselves a relax for early next day excursions inside the park. 

Day 3 Full Game Drive Ruaha National Park:

After breakfast the clients will depart the lodge with picnic lunch and go for game drive, to explore more in the park. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Ruaha cottages. Staying inside the park will give you more chance to spot animals easy any time even during the night.

Day 4 – Depart Ruaha Np to Udzungwa Np:

After the breakfast, the clients will do en route game drive towards the gate and proceed with the journey to Udzungwa national Park, the ride will take around 6 hours, the clients will arrive Twiga hotel for dinner and overnight, to get ready for the the next day visit the udzungwa and the sanje waterfalls.  Twiga Hotel is located just outside of the entrance gate to the udzungwa mountain. Its clean and safe for all. 

Day 5 – Depart Udzungwa tour – Mikumi Park:

After breakfast, the clients will drive to udzungwa with lunch boxes. today the clients will do the udzungwa walking/tour and move up to the top to explore the beaut and excellent of the view, and the sanje water falls, its the best time after the tour to swim and rest a little. Later before dark, the clients will start descending to drive to mikumi national Park for accommodation at camp Bastian the most popular trail in Udzungwa is Sanje Waterfall. 

Day 6 – Depart for Mikumi game drive – Dar es Salaam:

After breakfast the clients will depart for game drive in mikumi national park before heading to Dar es salaam.
This is very special as to see if you have missed up on anything is possible to see today on our last day, after the game drive we will start driving back to Dar es Salaam at 1100am or 1200 and arrive Dar es Salaam before dark. Should the clients wish to proceed to Zanzibar of this day, it will be possible to depart the park early so we can catch the last boat or flight.
