3 Days Gombe – Bujumbura:

This tour start at Bujumbura, Burundi to Gombe, After breakfast we pick you from the hotel or at Home, and transfer to Kabonga village. On the way you shall have a chance to experience really peacefully Burundian life and beaches as the road locate near to the lake Tanganyika. At Kabonga, because there is no road to connect to Gombe you shall take the a boat (which takes less than two hours to Gombe) to cross the border, stop at immigration office for visa and proceed to Gombe National Park.

Itenerary of 3 Days Gombe Bujumbura Safari:

Day 1

Transfer From Bujumbura to Gombe national park

In the morning after breakfast, Pick up from your hotel at Bujumbura and transfer to Nyanza Lac border with Tanzania / Burundi) from Nyanza lac, En rout though typical African village along the shore of lake Tanganyika you will have chance to experience really peacefully African/Burundian life up to border Kagunga, Take the boat (which takes less than 2hrs to Gombe) to cross the border, Stop at immigration office for visa and then to Gombe National Park, Get hot lunch and thereafter start Chimpanzee trekking or visit kakombe waterfall. Dinner and overnight Tanapa hostel. F/B.

Day 2

Gombe -Chimpanzee trekking

Chimpanzee trekking in the forest and visit Jane’s peak where the Guide will brief you the history of Gombe and at the same time get a wonderful viewing and experience the real nature of the park from the top of the hill, late lunch, swimming at leisure, dinner and overnight at Tanapa rest house F/B.
