1 Day flying safari to Selous – Overview:
Visit on of the largest game reserves in Africa, Selous Game Reserve and transfer to Dar es Salaam Airport for a light aircraft flight to the Selous Game Reserve. Take in the spectacular aerial views of the Tanzanian countryside and you may see some animals as you fly over the game reserve on your way to the airstrip.
Upon your arrival at Selous, meet with your guide and board your safari vehicle. You will embark on a game drive and enjoy the thrill of observing Tanzania’s stunning variety of wildlife in its natural habitat. The guide will take you on trails that will enable you to see elephants, lions, buffalo, hippopotamus and a number of birds.
On this you you’ll enjoy a boxed lunch in the wild on your game drive or you can choose to visit the lodges in the game reserve for hot lunch. Continue with an afternoon game drive in where you will see a number of wildlife. In the late afternoon, you’ll return to the airstrip for a flight back to Dar es Salaam.
